There is an open discussion on the need of lawyers to acquire or not programming skills. ​

In this session, we will have the opportunity to listen to these four great professionals:

  • David Colarusso: Practitioner in Residence & Director of the Legal Innovation & Technology Lab at Suffolk Law School, Brookline, Massachusetts, US
  • Jeannette Eicks: Research Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Legal Innovation at Vermont Law School, US
  • Damien Riehl: Legal technologist, lawyer, speaker, writer, and Managing Director of Fastcase Legal Research Platform at Fastcase , Washington D.C., US
  • Mark van der Zee: Lecturer and researcher on accessibility of the law in Inholland University of Applied Sciences, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
  • Eric Wiersma: Teacher, researcher and coach in Business, finance and law in Inholand University of Applied Sciences, Rotterdam, The Netherlands

They will do a deep analysis on this question and share their reflections on the pros and cons of introducing this subject into legal studies.

María Jesús González-Espejo, the Managing Partner of Instituto de Innovación Legal, will be the moderatos.
